When you are new to baseball or softball, one of the first questions you may have is what equipment does my child need to be safe and ready to play ball.  All players receive a uniform shirt.  Baseball and t-ball players also receive a hat.  The players are responsible for purchasing pants.  Below is a list of general requirements and a few optional items that your player will need for the season.

• Glove
• Bat
• Batting Helmet
• Cleats
• Bag to hold all the gear
• Baseball pants and socks – Your coach will determine what color.
• Belt – optional
• Sliding shorts – optional for older players
• Batting gloves - optional
• Water bottle

Additional Requirements for Softball:

• Batting helmet must have a cage
• Fielder’s mask
